Summary
After Orion and Walburga Black’s separation left Sirius and Regulus to grow up in different countries, their relationship has never been the same. That rift, however, is far from insurmountable, especially when one of them needs help.
Regulus had high hopes about moving to stay with his brother in London, even with concerns that it could cost him his dreams of figure skating at an international level. His brother’s only request in return for giving Regulus a home was that he help play a prank on Sirius’ friends; pretend that Regulus doesn’t speak any English at all.
They’ve got a long way to go towards knowing each other properly, but they’ve got each other, and Regulus doesn’t even mind Sirius’ friends–especially when they’re cute and flirting with them is harmless fun. He just wishes his life would include a little more fun and a little bit less of what he's running to escape.
Or: Figure Skater Regulus meets Hockey Player James, and harmless fun becomes a little less harmless as they accidentally fall in love despite communicating via translation software. Things are bound to be exciting as they drag their partners, friends, family, drama, and metaphorical luggage along for the ride.

Summary
The Marauders had never expected to make it out of the Potters' garage when they started their band. Somehow, despite that fact, they've managed to start getting gigs on a regular basis. The problem is--everything they do is dependent on one another. Without one of them, none of them can go on. When Peter, their keyboardist, breaks his wrist, it looks like game over for the next few months.
Luckily for them, Sirius has a secret--he recently reconnected with his brother, who has the skills they need to fill in and the time to do so. Unfortunately, Regulus' ex-band had been much more successful the Marauders, and along with fans, he brings a whole lot of drama with him.
And that's not even to mention that James Potter has been trying for years to ignore the crush he has on his best friend's younger brother.

Summary
Sirius Black was six years old when his baby sibling was born. From the moment of their birth, Sirius swore to himself to always look out for them. By the time they're both adults, he might have lapsed in that protection briefly, but he fully intends to resume honoring it now.
Regulus Black doesn't care very much for being protected. If anything, his meddlesome older brother makes accomplishing what he has to do all that much harder, because Sirius actively tries to keep him 'safe', and safe is a rather difficult place from which to achieve much.
Or: A very non-canon compliant horcrux hunt, developing a system of magic, and focusing on the Black brothers.

Summary
Regulus Black, head of the Black Family, and by extension head of an extensive, global criminal empire, faces the greatest challenge of his life: now that he’s successfully taken out the major competition, he must maintain his criminal empire… while pretending to be an otherwise normal 20-something university student.
He faces the benign threats of potential political coups, and the much more stressful issue of overseeing students as a Teaching Assistant while being younger than most of them. Likewise, he’d prefer to deal with anyone trying to compete with his empire over trying to pretend to have a normal level of knowledge in global events any day. Not to mention–he has to manage it all while sorting out a complicated web of romantic and platonic relationships and trying to make his boyfriend’s mum comfortable with the fact that he’s a criminal.
