They have managed to keep it a secret until they discover that their friends Lizz Fangmeyer and Mike Wolford are also in a mate level relationship. Summary
This is the results of yet another brain goblin dropped by my Muse. What comes of it is up in the air and I have no idea when this will update next, though I expect it will, at some point. Some of the events described as having happened in the recent past were marginally inspired the show Fringe.
The TL:DR of this story is that Honey is the bad guy, but only kinda. They're out of time, and to close a loop in time, they have to do what they have done. I'lll update tags as needed since I just do not know where this is going. Was tempted to just post it in my one-shots collection, but I feel there is more here.

Finnick was a very clever mammal. He successfully conned an otter into giving him free food. He felt pretty good about his success. Surely this won't bring unexpected circumstances that alter the course of his life as he once knew it. Surely not.
