But Villa gets a certain ~vibe~ from a few of them, like there’s tension in the air that’s about to boil over. It’s pretty certain there’s gonna be some people boning down tonight. And it’ll be fine, this isn’t Villa’s first rodeo—all of Villa’s bedrooms are soundproofed for a good reason.
So imagine Villa’s surprise when, at the evening’s conclusion, all nine of them split off to their own individual bedrooms for the night, and more than one of them resorts to cold showers before crawling into bed. Only the lesbians sneak into each other’s rooms—but everyone else? Actually asleep. Not one other person acting on any of that sexual tension.
This is so sad. Villa plays three seconds of Despacito over a speaker downstairs, and decides that these people are in desperate need of some intervention.

Aziraphale’s mouth clicks shut, and he goes so still that the group is forcibly reminded that ethereal beings don’t technically need to breathe, have a heartbeat, or even metabolize energy to exist. Beside him, Crowley’s stiffened up and his lips pull back from his teeth in a toe-curling wince.

Summary
Aziraphale Fell is a by-the-book caseworker for the Department in Charge of Magical Youth. He thinks he's content with his life, until he is sent to inspect an orphanage he's never heard of. There, he meets children deemed too dangerous for anywhere else, but he can't help wondering why. And then there's the master of the orphanage, Crowley, who is as mysterious as he is charming. Aziraphale finds himself flustered, not only by this new situation, but by the idea that he might not be able to remain unmoved by it all.
Inspired by the novel The House in the Cerulean Sea by TJ Klune. (No prior knowledge of this book is needed to read this fic.)
