Summary
Phainon is called to war to retrieve his dear friend, Aglaea, from Styxia, being forced to leave behind his wife, Cyrene, his son, Poliphortes, and his city, Aedes Elysiae
But after a long 10 years, he is plagued with the guilt of the fact that he has murdered many people, and on his return home, makes enemies with the Titan Phagousa for killing the Titan's son. Now, he must traverse the waters and seas of Amphoreus, whilst being chased by an angry god and keeping his crewmates alive, all to get home to his family and home.
(TW: Violence, war, non-con, etc. Read with caution!)

In the middle of the room stood the man. Gallagher immediately figured he was someone, or something important. His robe was blue and spotless and he was the only one not covering his face. A very beautiful face if you ask Gallagher. Preachers were making way for him trying to make the rustling any less noticeable.
The appearance of the man had a very obvious impact on the crowd as they were trying to muffle the excitement. Some started to cry, covering their mouths under the masks.Gallagher watched the man approach the pulpit making everyone practically pulsate with an unbearable emotion. And then he spoke:
— As bequeathed by my predecessor: I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. So rejoice, all of you, for I have been returned to you to absolve your sins.
My what..?
The crowd howled, not hiding their tears and that insane, sick happiness anymore. They were given the right to rejoice after all.
Gallagher stood there frozen, the entire course of religious reading as an object of philology flashing in front of his eyes.

What is to be done when you lose your entire species? How could you possibly begin to fathom the indescribable loneliness and solitude that comes with no one else understanding what you are?
Sunday could not answer that question, he's still searching for the answer even after centuries. All that's plagued him is a mental fog and some sort of innate desire to keep living despite everything. What does he even want now, outside of a companion?
Perhaps the cease of existence of humanity, the ones who had caused this.
Yet much more becomes so uncertain when he's brought aboard a ship after a storm, and subsequently mystified by the striking pink and blue eyes of a man named Aventurine. Now, more than anything, he wishes to learn.
