Marta’s breath hitched, her blue eyes darkening with interest. “Oh?”
Fina’s lips curled into a teasing smile. “There are some things that are just for you, and they should stay that way. Which is why I couldn’t bring it.”
Her hands lingered on Marta’s waist as she stepped back, her eyes sweeping over Marta’s flushed, radiant face and the elegant lines of her dress. Fina’s voice dropped lower, almost a growl. “But you’re making it really hard not to unwrap my favorite present early.”

Marta and Fina go ice skating, decorate their apartment, take winter walks and then there is Marta’s dreaded Christmas family reunion. Luckily, Fina is right there with her, saving her from unwanted talks with relatives and making this Christmas the first one Marta actually wants to celebrate and remember.

We pick up after Fina blows air kisses to Marta in the stockroom before they head to Madrid (Ch.110). It's feelings, then feelings with smut, then more feelings....and more smut with a decent amount of lgbtq history woven in as well (see notes starting in ch.4)
Perspective shifts between Marta and Fina and ch.1 is really an intro to jump off of canon so give it to at least 2 (or better yet 3) to get going.(2ish, 3, 8, 12, 15 & 20 are smutty)
