Summary
The blood of the covenant is stronger than the water of the womb. After ending up back in the system and with a strange new foster parent, Billy soon finds out that the same is true for the… ectoplasm of the covenant? It that right?
No matter. Anyways, this new relationship fills his life with a lot more death, and some… "practice and exposure". At least he'll have something to talk about when he gets asked questions very much not for a fourteen year old teen at the next Justice League meeting? Maybe?
He's not sure how much of this he should actually tell people, now that he thinks about it…

Summary
Timothy Jackson Drake and Daniel William Fenton had met under less than ideal circumstances, but they'd somehow gotten together during summer camp. Then both of their lives changed drastically and they drifted. When Tim was suddenly pushed into the Infinite Realms only to be released after marriage or death, he certainly did not think he'd find his ex ruling them. And even less that both of them would fall for each other again.
And they had meant to tell his dad, really, they had. But one thing led to another and now it's a bit… complicated. With King Phantom being asked to assist the justice league, things do not get easier. But, hey, maybe if he can join them he can find a way to bring it up?
It would be easier if working with the justice league didn't also mean working with people who were too aware just how much damage he is able to cause.Series

'A friend of yours?' Gordon asks as he glances at the stalking figure standing by Batman's side. They are a fighter, that's easy enough to deduce but they aren't dressed in the attire that Gordon has gotten used to for people that march under the banner that Batman holds.
Batman huffs. 'In a manner of speaking.'
'He did try to lose me on the way over,' the stranger seems to grin from out under their hood which perfectly shadowed the top half of their face, and makes identifying them impossible.
'"Try" being the operative word, I see.'

The child lowers his head, his lips tightly pressed together. After a moment of fumbling, he opens his coat, revealing a soaked green shirt and a small coin purse dangling from a string around his neck. He struggles with it for a moment, and when he finally gets it open, empties the entire thing into his hand.
A crumpled five-dollar bill, two pennies, and an empty candy wrapper.
“I—” There’s a noise almost like a sob, quiet and shivering, but the boy swallows it down. “I n-need you to kill my step dad.”
