Summary
Hermes is fine. The family just got a bit tiresome sometimes, and once in a while he could really use a break. That's what made the soul collecting gig so great – visiting the Underworld meant he got a little time away from prying eyes. He could relax and talk the ear off the boatman, who wouldn't judge him and couldn't care less about the drama on Olympus. Well, as far as he could tell, anyway.
But something's going sideways. Zeus is scheming, Hermes is certain of it, and the secrets and family drama are starting to drip into the Underworld, too. He's not used to being out of the loop, and so far, he's not a fan. Though it sure would be nice if Charon would help him out, since he obviously knows something.

And then a door opened.
It was a quiet sound, not one any mortal would hear but a quiet screech that took part of the fallen angel’s attention, but not all of it. He wasn’t going to take his attention away from his book to double check who it was, there was no reason to.
Not until a body flopped on top of his own. After a moment, Lucifer risked a glance down, finding bright red and a few black strands of hair resting on his chest, ears flicking before resting too, arms flopped either side of him.
It took a moment to process, but Lucifer realised who it was.

Summary
Lucifer forces healing upon Alastor and feels guilty about it later. He eventually realizes that he didn't completely heal the wound and tries to be nicer to the demon so he lets him finish healing him. Lucifer already knows he's physically attracted to Alastor, but as he spends more time with him, Lucifer starts to develop feelings.
Alastor already didn't like Lucifer, and Lucifer healing him the way he did doesn't make anything better. He would rather just avoid Lucifer, but when Charlie makes them do activities together to get them to get along, he ends up having to spend more time with the king.
Over time, with some outside influences, Alastor and Lucifer grow closer to each other and begin to form a friendship. No one expects Alastor to begin to feel some strange feelings towards Lucifer. Unfortunately, it will not be easy for the two to start a relationship as they battle their own reservations, how they think the other views them, and the constraints of Alastor's deal.

Summary
Lucifer’s entire body felt like it was run over by a train. Twice. Then thrown into the most rackety juice blender for a few turns. Then wringed out like a tea towel, chewed up and shat out by a lion, forced onto the most horrendous amusement park ride and finally punted into the ocean.
Something like that.
The point was, he felt awful. His entire body was sore, his middle hurt like a bitch — holy shit, he was bleeding —, he was soaked and freezing cold, and he’d just woken up to some kind of sea monster gnawing on his left hand.
Great.
