Summary
Lucien's fucked up. Royally fucked up. And his father, already on the hunt for a reason to get rid of him, takes the opportunity to finally disown him. Now, jobless and wondering what he's supposed to do without catching more of Beron's attention and bringing his wrath upon him, Lucien finds himself venting to his oldest friend.
What he didn't expect was for Tamlin to offer him a position as his personal assistant.
It's just temporary, of course, but it's not long before the two find themselves entangled closer and closer together, and the more Lucien learns about Tamlin's friends and family, the more he finds old feelings rising to the surface faster than he can push them down again.
He's only gotta hope that Tamlin doesn't learn of what he did...

The Blood Rite is nearly finished. With Dawn just on the horizon, and the last stretch of the Breaking out before them, victory is right within sight. But the Illyrian males behind them are faster than Gwyn, who wouldn't be able to make the last of the journey before the three Valkyrie were torn into by dozens who wanted their heads.
They're trapped between a rock and a hard place, someone needs to stay as the last defence, and someone needs to take Gwyn and make the last of the treacherous climb.
Nesta and Emerie say goodbye, and then, Emerie pushes herself beyond her limits, and conquers the Breaking.

Partially inspired by 1001 Nights and the tales of Renard the Fox, this story begins on the day of Winter Solstice as depicted in ACOSF. This story is not as straightforward as it seems, however. For as Lucien and Tamlin revisit important moments from their past, they must decide together what kind of ending their story will truly have.

Summary
The world is in ruins. Humans and Faeries pick at each other’s teeth until the bone is whittled from flesh and all that is left is blood in their wake. They had been created equal, once. To think, they’d all fall prey to their own hubris. This is not what the Goddesses wanted. To Prythian, they are sending scouts to decide whether their world is worth saving, or whether it should be devoured and remade anew.
This is a dark fantasy, eldritch horror fic that may end up being unserious more often than not.

This left such a deep impact that I could not for the life of me stop reading until my eyes were literally forcing themselves closed. 1000000/10 the writing is beautiful and haunting, and I wish this fic would never end so that I could read it forever.

Tamlin has watched his Court collapse into chaos and ruin. Depression and doubt now cloud his mind. Lucien was his emissary and closest advisor. He had been a close friend to the High Lord of Spring but had fallen out since the war with Hybern. In its aftermath he had been tasked with keeping a close eye on Tamlin. To watch over him Lucien has decided it best to stay by the fae male's side and help him grow through his struggle. As they rebuild the Spring Court and their lives, they began to feel a bond tug between each other.
