Summary
Thor resurrects Loki nearly six years after his death at Thanos's hands. It's not that Loki isn't grateful. It's not. Really. But whatever magic made him Asgardian is gone, and now Loki is Jotun. It's his nightmare. It makes him wish, just a little, that he was still dead.
Loki and Thor try everything they can think of, but there doesn't seem to be any magic, or spell, or ritual that will make Loki Asgardian again.
So Loki takes a chance: he goes to New York, and he asks for Stephen Strange's help. Strange is a sorcerer, after all. If anyone on Earth can help, it's him—even if Loki doesn't expect he'll be able to.
He doesn't expect how much he likes Strange, either. He doesn't expect to enjoy spending time at the Sanctum. He doesn't expect it to be Strange who makes him stop wishing, even if it's just a little, that he was still dead.

It's wedding day in New Asgard!
Thor and Jane are tying the knot and the entire village of New Asgard is turning out for the occasion—along with Avengers, Guardians, Masters of the Mystic Arts, and that one cashier at the Spar in Tønsberg whom Thor always chats with. It's going to be the perfect day, at least if Loki has anything to say about it (he does). No one deserves happiness more than Thor.
And if watching Thor marrying Jane stirs up feelings for Loki—loneliness, and yearning, and a wish for something that can never happen—well, he'll push that aside like he always does. He could never have what Thor and Jane have. He especially could never have it with Stephen Strange.

Unbidden came the image of Mori upstairs towelling off his hair and the water on his shoulders and arms. Thaniel thought about pressing his mouth to his damp hair and to his temple where it was soft and feathery. He pressed the heel of his palm against his brow, feeling the heat start to creep up his neck. He breathed deeply, brought back to that time in the hallway and the beads of water pooling between the dips of Mori’s collarbones.
Thaniel stood up and gently closed his door, then locked it. He stayed with his hand on the knob before gradually letting go.

Summary
Odin, mafia boss of NYC, hires Stephen Strange to keep an eye on Loki as his bodyguard after rival goons go after Loki. Stephen is also tasked with keeping Loki out of trouble, namely away from the wild sex life he leads.
Loki's been on his best behaviour, but can't stop thinking about or flirting with Stephen. During dinner, Stephen confides in Loki about the car crash that wrecked his hands. That night, Loki fantasies about Stephen’s hands, and how he’d love to fall apart between them.
This work takes place during Chapter 8 of AuroraWest's Nasty Boys Don’t Mean A Thing, but can be read as a stand-alone.
