Summary
Set in a dystopian, cyberpunk metropolis of Midgar, we follow the story of Cloud Strife and the eco-terrorist group called Avalanche who are trying to stop the powerful megacorporation Shinra from using the planet’s life essence as an energy source.
In the midst of finding Sephiroth and trying to stop him, Cloud stumbles upon something that will greatly contribute to Avalanche and stopping Shinra.
Or, if we want to be more specific, two ghosts from his unknown past return.

He’d shrugged Genesis off, confused and really uncertain if he was being serious or if he was just fucking with him.
