Izuku looks contemplative for a moment, and then his face lights up, which means he’s got an idea. He turns to the entire common room and spreads his arms out wide, beaming and standing on the coffee table for good measure.
“Oh, fuck no,” Bakugou groans, his face turning a little red. Denki grins; he loves it when people embarrass Bakugou. It’s his one and only reason to live.
“Everyone!” Izuku yells, “if I may have your attention!”

Contrary to popular opinion, Bakugou Katsuki does care about people. He just has weird ways of showing it.
And his friends? Well, they care about him right back. And now that Deku's finally his friend again? He's gonna show it, too.
Or: Katsuki accidentally lets himself love, and ends up not regretting it.

Summary
Izuku's life is going amazingly well, with his Twitch channel where he streams himself playing video games and discussing the nerdiest things imaginable hitting 3 million followers, his best friend as his roommate, and his other close friends as tight-knit as they've been since high school. The only possible road bump is his viewer's continuous demands to know who "Kacchan" is - thanks to Katsuki often coming into his room during streams and Izuku's repeated attempts to pull him into video game competitions - and, more importantly, if they're dating. Which is crazy.

Why did Bakugou Katsuki want more of Midoriya Izuku?
He didn’t deserve him; he’s always known that. And if Izuku was asked what he thought about his relationship with Katsuki, he would smile softly and shrug, simply stating that he was too blessed to have it where it is today… and that… that knowledge wounded Katsuki like no other. He would rather face All For One again, he would rather have himself on death's door than hear that what they had was enough.
Why was he the only one that was having these conflicting thoughts?
(Or, the five times Katsuki almost kisses Izuku, and the one time Izuku kisses him.)

He wondered what Izuku thought of the moving scenery, if it felt familiar or not, or if it was a world of both to him. He with his mother had moved overseas, the tenants of his complex said. That was around Katsuki's second year of high school.
Katsuki's turning thirty in a few months.
(-sometimes, sometimes Katsuki wished he'd had done things differently when he was a brat. But the young asshole had been egoistic, fearing failure, fearing what he did not understand, fearing what cog would not fit in his version of the world.)
