Summary
Set a few weeks after the epilogue, Charon’s Crossing is as busy as ever. More than ever, really. Much more. Between new cases, caring for Husks, the relentless summer crowds pouring into the tea shop that seem to never end, and adjusting to his new life as a new Reaper, Wallace wonders how he, Mei, and Hugo will pull through. Especially Hugo.
After a peculiar visit from a shop owner in a peculiar city far away, the three are offered the chance to spend some time away. But what was supposed to be a time spent purely for relaxation and reflection has its misadventures. And should the trio wish to see Charon’s Crossing again, Wallace finds himself having to put both his past talents as a fearsome attorney and his current newfound skills as a Reaper to use.
