By all rights he should have walked away. Call it an unappealing tendency toward his own superiority. Call it boredom. Whatever it could be called did not change that he remained in place."

    This is a little gift fic I wrote for NobodysAngel80 in a Secret Santa exchange! I had a lot of fun digging into characters I do not write often, and a pairing I have never written. Or at least laying groundwork that can lead you to it becoming one. Set prior to and in very early ShB, my premise was "What if they each sparked something in the other?" and went from there.

    Mitsu is also a lovely little darling of a Warrior of Light, and I knew I had to include him. I have Viera bias.
