    Jeonghan just clung tighter to Mingyu’s sleeve with one hand and curled up smaller in his lap, tail flicking anxiously.
    “I’m scooping you up then, okay?”
    It took a while but eventually Jeonghan managed to whisper, “okay” into Mingyu’s ear. Mingyu picked him up carefully, arm around his back and under his knees – he was so light.
    “Say thank you to Chan,” Mingyu murmured, getting a big grin from the man in question – he’d be hearing about this from Wonwoo later – and an echoed thank you from Jeonghan.
