Everyone knows Simon Eriksson. Everyone knows about his bad attitude, his unmatched silent-treatment abilities, his torn up jean jacket riddled with anarchist propaganda. He had made a name for himself on campus, and not a good one — not that he cared.
But Wilhelm didn’t know any of this. He didn’t have a year prior to learn the dynamics of his class. He was simply thrust into a new school and expected to fall into line with everyone else. So, of course, he didn’t know the unspoken rule — that Simon Eriksson is not to be messed with. He’s not to be spoken to, looked at, breathed on. Wilhelm bites his lower lip. Would a "congratulations" hurt her so much? She's only concerned about sales. But that's no news. "Well unless that little rascal Eriksson wins, did you see he was in all the categories I'm in?"

As the most popular popstar in Sweden, Wilhelm has a lot on his plate. He doesn't think much about his popularity, until another up and coming artist comes in and starts raining on his parade, looking impossibly hot while doing so.
