Summary
Despite his origins, Tsuna is a highly respected profiler and a proud agent of the IOC (The International Office of Criminal Investigation). He has been for almost 4 years. He'd been in some tough spots before. Combine being a profiler with an interesting childhood and there's really no avoiding it. But getting arrested by his own agency isn't ideal.
NOTE: This fic is currently going on hiatus! I'm not exactly sure how long, but my guess is a few months, maybe throughout summer or, at the longest, until the end of the year (unlikely to be that long). The reason is just that I'd like to finish writing the fic, or at least mostly finish before I continue to update. See you soon!

Tsuna glanced over at the clock again, taking in the soft ticking. He sat up, straightening the way he’d been taught to always do.
He was still in his suit, uncomfortable as it was, it was the only thing that felt familiar at this point. There was still the irritable urge to reach down and straighten it. Tuck his dress shirt into his pants. Redo his tie. Button his blazer.
All the things he was expected to do automatically, and all the things he shouldn’t care about. Not anymore.

The two of them attempt to stay as still as they possibly can, praying that Sakura and Sasuke cannot hear the leaves rustling from where they’re training on the ground.

“Do you miss him?’ Kakashi asks quietly.
“If I’m being honest, I’m pretty pissed at him,” Naruto explains, clenching both his jaw and his fists, “He just left. He didn’t bother explaining why, and eight year old me just had to deal with it, deal with losing one of the only people in the world who cared about him.”
Blinking back tears, Kakashi cannot bear looking at Naruto right now, so he averts his gaze to the ground.
“I’m sure he had a good reason.” he lies.
