The sinner turns back to her. “Do it,” he snarls. “Put me out of my fucking misery. It’s not like I’ve got anything going on to stroke my dick about. But I’m not going to go whore myself out or throw myself at some demon fuck’s feet or whatever else you want me to do.”
She raises her spear to point down at his throat. “You know you won’t come back this time, right!?”
“Oh, I fucking know. You’re good at making sure sinners don’t come back. Bet you miss it, right? I mean, you know what? Why the fuck not.” He stands up and spreads his arms out wide. “Go on, Vajjie. Show me why you’re one of the best.”
