“Um.” Kiibo makes his way over and hovers at Shuichi’s side, not sitting down at the table. Shuichi doesn’t urge him to yet, watching Kiibo fidget and stare at the floor, cerulean eyes bright with indecision. “Well, I wanted you to answer a… quite the personal question, for me. I thought of asking Harukawa-san, but I didn’t want to rub salt in a wound, and Akamatsu-san has been awake for a while, so I just thought…”
Shuichi pushes his book away and reaches out to skim Kiibo’s wrist with his fingertips, silencing him. “Kiibo-kun, it’s alright. We’re friends, aren’t we? You don’t have to justify yourself. If I don’t feel comfortable answering, I’ll just say so.”
“Ah… right.” Kiibo manages a smile. It quickly falls, and he shifts his weight again. “Well, I wondered… You and Akamatsu-san are… um, close. Of course. But your feelings for her…”
It doesn’t take a genius to get what Kiibo is implying. A bit flushed, Shuichi nods, figuring that if he can admit it to anyone, he can probably admit it to Kiibo.

After waking up in a mysterious classroom, Kiibo Iidabashi is now stuck fighting for his life along with fourteen other students. Even though he wants everyone to live with him, how can he do that when people already accuse each other after 50 minutes?
Honestly I still suck at writing descriptions but what the heck. I've always though talent swaps were cool so I decided to take it a step further.
Class swaps. Fun.
I'm not good at writing trials and stuff so this will mostly dance around the trials and focus more on the character relationships and a nutshell of a plot.

Summary
Kaede was everything to him, and now she was gone, leaving him with only the hazy, melancholic recollection of her laugh; her friendly nature; her way of drawing out his inner thoughts, encouraging him to speak up for himself. It had all inspired him - inspired him to just try coming out of his shell for once - but after the trial had ultimately come to a finish, he found that the steady buildup of anguish and desolation shattered into millions of tiny, sharp pieces, the only thing left behind being a dull, empty feeling that swallowed him whole. It was like nothing truly mattered anymore, and all he could do was remain locked up in his room until he felt as though he would decompose.
In other words, Shuichi struggles with grief after the death of his former best friend.
