Summary
After a millennia, monsters are free to roam the surface and with them, magic begins to return as well. Humans and monsters share magic, technology, and culture, perhaps finally bringing peace to a world ravaged by political turmoil. But the return of magic and the changing political scene are not Frisk's primary concern. While his friends move forward into the future he is haunted by ghosts of his past. While family and strangers alike worry about the lengths he would go to to rid himself of the dangerous deal he made under the mountain, demons and angels alike watch and wait for the moment to make this world their own.

A sequel to my novelization of Undertale. Reading that fic isn't strictly necessary so long as you've played the Pacifist Route of Undertale though this fic will occasionally reference moments I added in my previous fic. The most important thing to know is that Chara exists as an essence sharing Frisk's body and has since Frisk fell underground. Lines in italics and in quotes are Chara talking (which only Frisk can hear). Lines in italics without quotes are Chara's private thoughts.
For the purpose of this fic, Mount Ebott exists in the fictional island nation of Emerland, located about halfway in between Ireland and Iceland.
Typically updates every Sunday (formerly updated on Mondays).

Nightmare recruits his gang, Bill helping get him started with the Murder Time Trio, before Nightmare starts finding recruits on his own. Nightmare's Gang is impossibly chaotic, and so are the Star Sanses honestly. Summary will probably be updated at some point in the future.

What if the Underground started glitching? What if whenever two parallel Timelines, one Undertale, another an Alternate Timeline, Reset at the same time, a bit of the Alternate Timeline leaked into Undertale? What if there were side effects of this happening, like nightmares each time a synchronized Reset occurred? And what if Sans was effected worse than the others with the effects much more severe and some other effects others don't have? What if there were three Alternate Timelines parallel to Undertale, and what if those Alternate Timelines just so happened to be Dusttale, Horrortale, and Something New (AKA Killertale)?
This fanfiction is being revised, and is being heavily updated, so I recommend rereading the chapters that have been revised! Once the revisions are done, the under revision status will be removed, and the title will just say (Revised) on it.
