Summary
Akito was stupid. It was a fact that was inherently obvious from the way he conducted himself. One glance, and you could tell that he was subpar when it came to thinking critically.
There are several potential theories in the air about why this was the case. Was he dropped as a child? Did his mother drink too much while pregnant? Was he just stupid? They were all plausible.
Being stupid means you make stupid decisions. Stupid decisions like practicing till three in the morning, until his throat was red and sore and his body was begging for sleep.
Stupid decisions like going for long jogs in freezing cold weather, only wearing a hoodie for warmth
Stupid decisions like getting himself sick with the combined mental and physical stress of his almost inhumane routine.
And the stupidest decision of all, continuing to practice despite his sickness.
