Yoo Jonghyuk glanced at the fox walking beside him. There were leaves and twigs stuck in its bushy tail again. Dust turned its paws grey. This close, Yoo Jonghyuk could see that its coat wasn’t completely black. The fur along the fox’s spine was speckled with a little bit of dark gray fur, the coat darkening closer to its limbs before turning into white paws.
It kind of looks like socks, Yoo Jonghyuk thought idly.
A random fox keeps following Yoo Jonghyuk through his regressions. Impulsively, he decides to let him stay.
This changes everything.

After sleeping together once, Dokja became addicted to the other’s presence so he would sneak into the man’s bed every night, despite the hunter’s weak protests. Yoo Joonghyuk could kick him away if he really wanted to, so complaints were useless as long as he didn’t mean any of them. Why were humans so insincere?
He soon found an even better place to sleep other than next to the neck—more precisely on Yoo Joonghyuk’s firm chest. He would lay there, head between the two hills, enjoying the steady sound of heartbeats coming from right under him. When the hunter would wake up, the first thing he’d see was a tiny wet snout. He’d let out an exasperated huff, but still raised a hand to gently caress the fox’s back every time.

Yoo Joonghyuk didn’t understand why the rat bastard had to constantly hide from him. He just wanted him by his side, yet had failed to keep him within his reach.
For almost a decade, he thought that the fox was dead. Yet here the fox was in all his glory, acting as if nothing happened in the past.
But it doesn’t matter now. His desires haven’t left him, even after so long. If anything, they now burned more frivolously than before.
He wanted answers. He wanted Kim Dokja to repent for abandoning him out of the blue. But most importantly (and selfishly,) he wanted Kim Dokja for himself.
He wasn’t going to waste this chance now, now that the slippery fox was right in front of him.
