A fairly self-indulgent reader-insert fic. This story follows canon almost exactly for the first few seasons, then begins to diverge. Listen, it's gonna be a long ride and I mean it when I say slow-burn. But it's worth it, I hope. I previously said that reader doesn't necessarily end up with everyone tagged but then I changed my mind because I'm the author and I can do what I want. I'll make it work.
But all that is beside the point because we're not here for romance. We're not even here to make friends. We're just here to kick ass (nicely) and take names and make a whole lot of pop culture references and bad jokes. Not out loud, though, because ~anxiety~.
Anyway, this is the story of a kid who wants to be a hero but doesn't want the fame or attention that comes with it. Through the amazing power of friendship and trauma, she learns... Wait - did I read that right? Trauma? We didn't sign up for that.
PS: That summary sucked, huh? Man, I thought I'd be good at this. Well - tl;dr: if you like MHA (or even if you don't!), why not give it a try?
