Summary
Based on a true story, as told in the post "I showed osu! to a girl at work" by u/Comfortable-Chip-740 on r/osugame.

Elijah had just made the fatal mistake all osu! players, hell, all weebs, know not to make – telling another person about your hobby. It had not turned out well. A day that started out in its normal fashion – mediocre – had suddenly taken a sharp turn towards catastrophic. And to make matters worse, it wasn’t just any person he’d told about osu! – it was Alisa, one of his coworkers, a young woman he hadn’t been able to take his eyes off of since the moment he first saw her.
