A quirk doesn’t magically manifest out of the blue once age four hits, no, the process starts at birth and continues from there. The body mutates in small ways, often nothing to a passing glance, but every small inch of growth is designed to prepare the body for the predestined quirk. Like a flower bud about to bloom. Petals are a delicate plume as they grow outwards, stretching for new heights.
For Izuku, a quirk came in the form of pavement, of the screams of passersby. A quirk is a blessing, they say. Izuku’s bloodied mangled corpse splayed out in a gruesome display, bones shattered and protruding from the impact. It was cold. No, it was a blistering heat that flared to life within his very soul. No, it was nothing at all.
A quirk is a blessing.

Midoriya Izuku was just a kid trying to live a normal life with his mother despite being a quirkless person in a dictature.
A villain named All for One took over the country years ago, reducing the population, killing and executing people, especially heroes. A cruel man with unknown motivations. Heroes quickly became a myth among others, fear and death being the only words able to describe the current state of Japan.
And in the middle of this, where did he stand as a twelve years old who just inherited a quirk he never asked for, haunted by ghosts who said they wanted to help him ?As All Might was on the verge of dying, he met a twelve years old kid who tried to help him despite the dangerousness of the situation. At this moment, knowing he couldn't be saved, he passed his quirk onto him : One for All. The kid ran away at his demand and All Might, feeling his consciousness slip away, not without an ounce of guilt, could only pray that the kid would carry on the will of defeating All for One.

Izumi was left at an orphanage as her parents left for America, living in an orphanage with a lady who didn’t treat those under her care differently because of quirks. But sadly life loves to torment her.
Powder was orphaned at a young age with her older twin sisters. But after being called a Jinx by the people who took the three of them in they sent her back to the orphanage separating the sisters.
Kin didn’t know why they left. She care for them and thought of them as family, so why did they leave without at least telling them goodbye or leaving a note or something?

Even after two years, the city never ceased to amaze Sokka. Growing up in a small town made even the most mundane aspects of city life just a small bit enchanting. He would never admit that he found the gritty and crowded subway that he was currently boarding to be one of the most amazing inventions ever, or that the noise and lights were endearing instead of annoying, or that he still stared out the window at night just watching the city breathe because he never got tired of the view from his bedroom. There were plenty of perfectly valid reasons that people disliked Ba Sing Se, but Sokka didn’t care about any of them. This was his city, and he loved it. While Katara got homesick and loved taking trips back to Wolf Cove, Sokka had never felt more at home among the hustle and bustle of Ba Sing Se.

Midoriya Izuku began his life as a smart child, then moved onto being a "quirkless useless." But one person has always stuck by him—Katsuki—and Izuku is now King Law, a leader of Monarchy. He is a genius that needs to adapt for the people he loves most, even if they will break his heart.
Iida Tenya is a strong rock in Monarchy, known as vigilante Duke Justice. A Monarchy advisor, he is wary of change but needs to do so to bring good to his found family.
