Summary
A troubled life is an understatement for Todd Dixon, who wished he had grown up with a father who was more understanding of his sexuality and a mother who would've stood up for him.
He grew up alone and distrustful, facing a lot of pain in his life so once he had the opportunity to apply to college, he took it and usually kept to himself while in college.
But, while on a trip to Rome, he and another human called Marco find themselves kidnapped by an alien anthro wolf called Amicus before winding up on Amicus' homeworld called Adastra.
As they struggle to adjust to their new surroundings, they soon discover that as Amicus and his brother Cassius compete in a battle for the throne, they learn that not everything is as it seems as those from the lowest servant to even the gods themselves might have a hidden agenda with the fate of Adastra hanging in the balance.

Summary
This work is a fan-fic, of course. I am endeavoring however, not to compose one in the traditional sense, but rather a fan-fic in the guise of a academic-historical work. I need not say, but will for my own piece of mind this is all of course fiction and any person or organization who is real and mentioned within is unrelated.
I have never seen something like this attempted, but owing to my own thirst for worldbuilding in fiction, I am setting out in an ambitious way to write this.
It will not match any academic-historical writing in length however, not even anywhere close (as can be ascertained by the brevity of the preface). I am no experienced writer, and though passionate about this particualrly, I am going to attempt to prudently pace myself and make this much more brief.
I hope this concept is not found boring, though I suspect it may be. In any case I sincerely hope that some joy can be found in what I write, and any critisisms I will be more than welcome to. Please enjoy!

Summary
