Hod whimpered. Angela silently watched the panicking, now human, sephirot. Ayin (formerly X) stared off into the plaid carpet of the vessel. Hokma, looking out the windows of the shuttle, alerted the group of a more urgent situation.
"I think we should be worrying less about how we ended up here and more on whether we'll survive the impact."
The room falls into a silence, before the shuttle is filled with a cacophony of screams.

The City is the same as usual. People die left and right, evil is justified and rewarded while justice is ignored and suppressed, tragedies are repeated with different variations. The only thing different are these monsters called distortions appearing randomly, but all they do is merely add to the long list of cruelty to the City. However, all things must change in the end, nothing can remain the same forever.
That change begins with a man and a machine. Both searching for their salvation, not realizing it is with the other. The path the two walk is not easy and full of twists and turns, so keep your eyes buttered till the end~

Ask anyone what their dream job is in The City and you"ll usually get these three answers.
To become a Fixer and rise the ranks with some time and effort and, maybe a little bit of luck.
To work at a Wing, creating new technologies with an elusive Singularity. Or the more likely scenario of being worked to the bone and tossed out like trash when they were done with you.
The last one is usually a knife between YOUR ribs, and your guts being pulled out by a rat hoping to join up with some mediocre syndicate.
Strangely enough, there's always those few who live for other people's dreams. Either because they don't have any of their own, or they lack the ability to fulfill their own dreams.
But when you start to amass a large amount of these people, these absolutely loony people. Who are always ready and willing to sacrifice themselves for others, to the point of which that going through hell and back seems like a trivial matter to them.
You mostly get a pile of dead bodies. It's The City, whaddya expect?
But give or take like 10,000 years, 3+ Singularities and maybe a fresh face or two, it could work. Probably.

Because of this, Angela makes a decision...To change this world. Properly. With the reprisal of a Singularity.
