He will find his life getting exponentially better in the palace of this conquering mad man, but still... he wishes for nothing more then to go back to his familiar home and people he cares for greatly. No matter how kind this Hannibal is to him.

So with Will Graham falling into this category he can’t help but feel sympathy for Abigail Hobbs after it is revealed what her father truly is. Though as he discusses this with his therapist he can’t help but find something off with him too. Whether it be the the chill of his rooms or the echoing of his voice; something is wrong with Hannibal Lecter. Yet he still finds himself being drawn in.

Supernatural elements with Hannibal being perhaps not all human. Canon typical murdering and cannibalism. Its still got soft age play stuff, but there is graphic crime scenes in later chapters.
Set some time in season 1, but we're ignoring a lot of canon here.

When Will Graham accidentally wounds a wolf, he takes the predator home and nurses it back to health. Although Will’s bond slowly builds with the wolf, his other dogs aren't fond of the new addition. Since the human can't understand them, or see what Hannibal is, it's up to Will’s dogs to keep their human protected from the wolf.
