Andrew "Squiggy" Squiggman tends to emulate Fonzie with the leather jacket and the appearance of his confidence with the girls. Unlike Fonzie, Squiggy scares off most girls with his pushiness and arrogant behavior.

The incident with Vivian left Squiggy down and depressed. Although he told her off a good one that day in the break room in front of Laverne, Shirley and Lenny; he still felt ashamed of himself over the whole ordeal. "Andrew Squiggman doesn't humble himself for nobody" was what Shirley had told him during their talk.Deep down Squiggy has feelings for Shirley Feeney, but knows she'd never go out with him for real (save that one pity date at La Fondue) as she's into Carmine. Squiggy valued Shirley's advice and her friendship which is why he was able to get a little emotional with her and tell her why he let Vivian do what she did to him.
Squiggy sought out Fonzie for advice so he traveled to Arnolds .....
