Summary
When a ghost loses his Guardian in the Red War, he sets out into the wilds to grieve. He never expected to find a human with the Light among a refugee family ... and he's not sure he wants a new Guardian at all. But when Fallen hunt them down, the ghost must decide between his own grief and the death of his new friends.
