Summary
The Titans are falling apart with distrust and arguments. Robin not sharing his secret identity with the team has become a sore spot once again. An off handed sexual comment from Speedy makes Robin curious about him. Which in turn leads to making out with Roy at a gala while still trying to keep his identity secret from the team. Dick questions if being intimately involved with a teammate is even a good idea, and what will happen if Roy finds out who he really is?

Bruce Wayne and Dick Grayson have been on the outs for a while now, but that doesn't mean they can escape any mention of each other. Not in their civilian lives. And evidently not even in their vigilante lives.
It was on a whim that Bruce agreed to the modeling gig for a Wayne Enterprises fundraiser, and now- Dick Grayson, otherwise known as Robin, leader of the Teen Titans, has to be the one to pay for it when his team starts to gush about his adoptive father. Too bad his avoidance of the subject could be interpreted as something else entirely. Even worse, is when his team absolutely cannot keep their mouths shut in front of other people.

That’s not… That’s not what he does. He wants you scared, first. Helpless. Knowing there’s nothing you can do. He… He calls it… softening up the target. So when he… when he actually shows up… they’re so afraid they… they panic.”
“And if he does…” Jason swallows. “If he does, you… there’s no way out. He won’t… If you fail, he doesn’t care. What you do. It doesn’t matter. He won’t stop no matter how much you…” Jason blinks a few times, and Roy’s fairly positive he’s trying to blink back memories. “He’s going to do what he’s going to do. You can’t stop him. He doesn’t care.”
Roy takes a deep breath. Let’s it out slowly, so it’s only an exhale, and not a sigh, because Jason looks haunted, and Dick looks blank.

Dick looked up at the familiar ceiling, wondering how he'd managed to end up in this situation again, where he could feel his skin burn and heart pound. Then again, he was pretty good at ignoring his issues until they were staring directly into his face, or in this case, cuddled into his side. Maybe he should've thought about this a bit more, maybe Barbara had been right.
Or: Dick goes through too much, processes too little and tries to manage his relationship with Wally, somehow.
