"Your name came to me in a dream," Thranduil begins, as he sits behind his youngest to finger comb and braid unruly dark hair. "I dreamt of Cirith Thoronath, where I stood at the edge of a cliff. The Great Eagles circled their grand home, a whole host of them, riding the wind. Then I saw it; a youngling, barely shed of its downy feathers. It sat in an empty nest, looking up longingly at its airborne kin. It was then I knew what your name would be."
"... So you named me after dreaming of an orphaned bird?"
"I thought it fitting, orphan that you are." Thranduil replies mildly, smiling when his youngest lets out a loud cackle. "You don't agree?"
"Oh, I agree, it's just very funny." The child replies. "... It's a nice name, though. Thank you, ada."
"You are very welcome, Thoroninn. May your name serve you well, and grant you good fortune."
In which there's a child of Man found beneath the darkened boughs of Mirkwood, and Legolas is the one to take the child to his home.

Set directly after the events of And the Stars Shine the Same -- Elrond’s two new wards both struggle to feel at home in Rivendell. The wounds from their slavery in King Frumgar’s court are still fresh, and the scars are deep -- and they’re not the only ones. Maglor is home at last, but each day he lives he is haunted by guilt and grief. Elrond is nothing if not patient, and he is certain that given enough time in Rivendell, all three will heal.
Meanwhile, the twins set out to join Legolas and investigate the source of the mysterious Shadow which attacked Rivendell, but are held up in Rhovanion. In Greenwood, something evil festers beneath the trees. Only Lothlorien, protected by Nenya, seems to be safe...but for how long?

Summary
Request : So what if the same reader always had bandages wound around the entirety of their right eye and some of their right cheek for some secret reason that nobody knows. Thranduil is slightly intrigued by how this human teenager manages to fight so well despite being disadvantaged in sight, and after he grows much closer to them, he asks them about the bandages. And because reader trusts him a lot more than before, they (sort of) hesitantly take off the bandages and reveals how the entire bandaged area was heavily damaged/scarred from dragon fire mostly due to their recklessness a few years back. I think it’d be interesting to see Thranduil’s reaction towards a young human that also suffered from the feared dragon fire. I don’t mind if you write headcanons or a scenario for this :)

Firstly, Thranduil wasn't born yesterday (hahaha, go ahead and laugh, you humans), secondly, he can operate a smartphone and thirdly, he has two allies in a galaxy far, far away.
Alternatively, if you've ever been to the modern world, you know the Star Wars films of course, you've been forced to watch them. It's when you experience for yourself what it feels like when fictional characters suddenly become real.I'll say it up front: not my best production. But I don't care! I've been meaning to write this for ages and here it is: my two FFs meet. Middle-earth meets Star Destroyer. You don't need to have read anything, it was explained to me that it's easy to understand.

Thranduil und Bard stehen vor den Toren des Erebors, Thorin ist drachenkrank und alles geht seinen gewohnten Gang - naja. Fast.
Erstens ist Thranduil nicht von gestern (Hahaha, lacht nur, ihr Menschen), zweitens kann er ein Smartphone bedienen und drittens hat er zwei Verbündete in einer weit, weit entfernten Galaxis.
Alternativ: Wenn man mal in der modernen Welt war, kennt man die Star Wars-Filme natürlich, man wurde ja dazu gezwungen, sie anzusehen. Blöd wird es, wenn man am eigenen Leib erfährt, wie sich das anfühlt, wenn fiktive Charaktere auf einmal real werden.Ich sag's vorab: Nicht meine beste Produktion. Aber mir doch egal! Ich wollt das schon ewig schreiben und hier ist es: meine beiden FFs treffen sich. Mittelerde meets Sternenzerstörer. Man muss nichts gelesen haben, mir wurde erklärt, Verständlichkeit ist auch so gegeben.

Summary
