Summary
I surprised myself by how much I enjoyed Blindspot, however towards the end some episodes showed a certain laziness in the writing. In particular, Madeline's demise felt clumsy and out of step with her character.
I am not a fan of her character, often finding her and her storylines particularly unbelievable. But regardless of my view, she was an instrumental figure and her ending lacked some of the drama and flair I felt she deserved. The team needed to say a proper farewell to her as this part of their journey ended.
I was disappointed and unsatisfied, which led to this rewrite.
It has been some time since I watched the series and it is no longer readily available in my part of the world, so there may be some procedural errors.
