If Bakugo and just UA in general have taught him anything, it’s to be a menace when faced with perilous situations like an abduction. But Midoriya doesn’t anticipate the kind of villain he’s up against or the horrors they’re capable of. A voice can be a powerful tool, but what happens when the one thing that could save him is ripped away, leaving him muted and unable to scream as agony consumes every fiber of his mind and body?

Even in the boring atmosphere of the classroom, he still had the ability to brighten the heterochromatic teen’s day.

    So why, he wondered, why was it that his loved one’s face was so filled with worry and helplessness, in a state when it was supposed to remain calm and serene? His faint freckles were covered in the thinest coat of cold sweat, and his face showed a slightly frightened expression. His breathing was unsteady, quite rapid but not so noticeable that it would drag attention.

    Midoriya softly scratched the plastic desk as he murmured under his breath “No, please… let me go…”

    Todoroki looks at the green-haired boy, quite shocked. “Maybe he’s having a bad dream…”, he wondered. But if so, how bad of a dream must he be having for him to look so frightened?

    Izuku picked himself up and wiped away his tears, Bakugo's words engraved in his mind forever, his brain constantly replaying '' kill yourself '' in his head in repeat. Deku's breathing resumed in short rapid breaths as he began to sweat and cry uncontrolably. He wiped away his tears to no avail because more kept flowing and the greenette dropped to his knees and clutches his shirt, trying to control his breating as everything Katsuki has said plays in repeat in his head.

    Izuku isn't a stranger to no good very bad days, except after two wars with the villains he expected some time off. When on a walk with his best friend they were hit with a quirk and separated through space in time. Katsuki was on an island with some weird ass strangers, and Izuku met a doctor after being teleported into a river. The rest is history. When at the ADA Dazai decides to get some coffee, he meets a familiar blond from his past. Chaos follows, as it does, with the wonder duo.

    Izuku gets traumatized more and it's up to Katsuki to suck it up and help his best friend. Oh and Chuuya is pissed off (And jealous, who does this blond think he is to know everything about his former partner who he apparently knows nothing about.)

    For this AU, the events before the war were sped up so Izuku and Katsuki are 14 when they were hit with the quirk. Nothing else is changed for the MHA universe.
