[y/n] was your typical collage student. Their life wasn't very special but they had family and friends that loved them. In their free time they enjoyed playing various games and among those games was Genshin Impact made by Hoyoverse. They played it since its first launch and they loved it since. Harbingers in particular caught his attention with their interesting backstories and personalities.
That evening was like any other on their working days. After finishing their shift at the local cafe they were on their way home to update genshin, as Natlan came out today, when a car accidently hit them. Later they woke up in a world that was weirdly familiar to Teyvat, but that couldn't be it, right? They must be simply dreaming.

this is a story where the creator of teyvat held many secrets, far after her own disappearance. In order to return home and convince everyone she is not Aashita (name) must find the vanished Goddess and uncover how she herself comes into play with all this.

When you first heard the whispers about a game called Genshin Impact, you hadn’t been interested. It wasn’t until images of it started popping up in your life that it caught your attention. Even if asked, you couldn’t explain exactly what it was that did it.
Was it the fields of Mondstadt, that seemed so familiar and peaceful, as though you could feel the wind on your face and the grass on your ankles as you ran through the dandelions?
Was it the tea of Liyue, that you could almost smell through the screen, or the way Zhongli smiled, that made your entire body relax all at once, as though the sight of his smile was enough to reassure you?
Whatever it was, once you started playing, you hadn’t been able to stop.
Not even when the characters began to act weird. Not when the game wouldn't be deleted from your computer. Not even once you died - it seemed like the world of Teyvat wouldn't release your soul, as you opened your eyes once more, in a vast desert that you knew like the back of your hand from your explorations in Sumeru. You sat up and blinked the sun from your eyes. "Well, fuck."
