“I’m going to loose my scholarship, and my Nicole and the Cafae” Jc sniffled slumping into the chair next to Nicole, placing their head on their girlfriends shoulder.
“We dont know that yet, Bobs been on the phone all of what 10 seconds?” Nicole reasoned.
Prison was calling. Litterally. But not because of JC, because of Erik who even after a year in jail had JC as his emergency contact. Now they have a choice go visit their old friend who might not wake up or go about their day as normal.
The choice they make will lead to them learning more about what really happened the night of Cyrus’ kidnaping and the weeks leading up to it.
Tldr: JC gets a call from Prison and is told that Erik was transferred to a hospital, when they go to visit him they learn that not everything he did to Cyrus was willing on his end to say the least.
A/N: I should clarify that im just getting back into the series (when i stopped watching it JC and Nicole werent even dating yet) and that Im on part 400ish currently so expect edits to be made like eriks sentence or the fact the cyrus and rethu are going on a date

I've been toying with this idea for a couple weeks (ever since I found the actual account responsible for CaFae Latte and was able to actually watch it, because I won't give stolen content any engagement) because I thought the idea of the mythos actually interacting with the mortal world in a modern world was fascinating. Introducing Coulroth getting into the wrong universe was a challenge, as was figuring out how to keep him there, but I think I have a solid hook, even if it IS one of my lazier narrative devices. (A glitching portal to the mortal world? C'mon, Síat, you're better than that... And so is Coulroth, you had to make the portal open into an alleyway with no civilians in view just to make him recklessly jumping into it believable.)
