Summary
For as long as they can remember, Yeosang sat at the peak of the mountain. They were carved of marble by a god who never told them its name. For centuries, they looked out over nature from the cliff beside which they sat.
Until one day they were met by a human.
And then the humans started talking to them.
The humans told Yeosang about the great blessings of their lives, the mundane regularities of their days. Yeosang listened aptly where they sat, wishing that the humans would never run out of stories. Yeosang thrilled in sharing the humans’ tales of joy and was captivated by the way they lived their lives. They told Yeosang about babies born, learning crafts and skills to carry on tradition, about weddings, exciting journeys and strangers met.
They told Yeosang about love.
_____
Yeosang waited millennia for their sunshine. -

Summary
Jongho had felt like he was falling from the second his final year at university had started, the sands of time slipping past grain by grain as he was swallowed by the inevitable abyss of adulthood. It was terrifying and lonely and far too much to grasp, and no matter which hands reached out to help, he seemed to flounder in the nothingness anyway.
But other than that he was totally fine. Yeah, just fine. And he needed to figure out what Yeosang's favourite drink was before the suspense killed him, so back to work he goes.
(or 5 times jongho makes a drink yeosang doesn't like, +1 time he makes a drink they do like, along with a lot of feelings, found family and futures that end up being much brighter than they first appear to be)
