"The yelling was bad. Broken plates and tears sucked too. But what really traumatized Anko was the indifference her father felt to her mother’s tirades. He just didn’t give a shit, not at all, and Anko supposes that in the end, that was the real problem. Her mother did things for his attention, and they only drove him further away. Anko never wants Aoba to look at her with indifference."
