I loved and adored these two, and I wish we could've seen more of them. Unfortunately, there are very few writers for Look Back, so I’ve decided to take it into my own hands.
This story takes place in a reality where Kyomoto's fate is uncertain. It further develops the relationship between the two girls, exploring other adventures they experienced together. Most importantly, it includes lots of fluff as I build up their relationship until they fall in love.

He had his phone in his hand, a very tired expression on his face while his eyes were red, his wings were drooping behind him and the tips of his yellow feathers were wet from the shower floor.
“I’m not a disembodied voice, thank you very much.” He glared at Tango, he clearly seemed to be annoyed by the blaze’s presence.
“Why are you,” Tango looked around to make his point. “In the bathroom, specifically, in the shower?”
This work is a rewrite of 'Imagine falling inlove while playing hide and seek, that's so embarassing and totally not what happened here.' except I accidently changed the whole concept.

He'd given up trying to find a place to duck under until the rain stopped and instead was leaning up against a lamppost, shifting his weight when a sudden, sharp jolt of pain radiated through his side.
"Great," he muttered to himself, pulling up the thin sheer of his shirt to get a better look at the deep purple bruise that was forming across his ribs. The fucking trick had hit him hard enough that a couple of those ribs were probably broken, and that was really the last fucking thing he needed because he didn't have enough money for the rent, let alone a trip to the clinic for some x-rays.

Mike starts having bizarre dreams of him and Harvey in different periods of time. Then, it starts happening when he’s still awake. Harvey is there to pick up the pieces and figure out exactly what’s going on. Cue nauseating fluff and just as much angst both in the present and past iterations of Harvey and Mike. Just a fair warning that they did Not Have A Good Time in most of their past lives, which are full of loss, tragedy, and the homophobia that you'd expect from the respective time periods. But I promise a happy ending for our Mike and Harvey!
TL;DR: These idiots are basically destined to be together because they’re both too stubborn to let each other go. Maybe this time they'll actually get it right.
Edit: I originally had this take place ambiguously after S2, but decided to change it to post-prison shortly after Mike is back working for Harvey. We're just going to say that Rachel and Mike broke up before he went to prison and that Jessica is in the process of having Harvey take over everything but hasn't left yet. The horrific 'Harvey dates his therapist' plot point naturally does not exist here because why. And in this fic, Gallo succeeded in stabbing Mike so prison was a little more traumatic.

He would never admit that he found the gritty and crowded subway that he was currently boarding to be one of the most amazing inventions ever, or that the noise and lights were endearing instead of annoying, or that he still stared out the window at night just watching the city breathe because he never got tired of the view from his bedroom. There were plenty of perfectly valid reasons that people disliked Ba Sing Se, but Sokka didn’t care about any of them. This was his city, and he loved it. While Katara got homesick and loved taking trips back to Wolf Cove, Sokka had never felt more at home among the hustle and bustle of Ba Sing Se.
