Oh... right... My fault!" Jason felt the sobs taking over him. His body was shaking, and he couldn't stop it. "Dying was my fault, finding myself in a green liquid was my fault, becoming a stupid zombie and being completely alone was MY FAULT!" Jason stood up. "I’M SO SORRY!"
Bruce was shocked by the unexpected outburst. Still, he maintained his composure. He had never seen Jason cry since he came back from the dead, never seen him so weak, helpless, and childlike... never seen him so sad.
Jason, breathing heavily, found solace in shouting. On this birthday, he decided to do himself a favor and confess what was inside him. "I'm sorry, Bruce... I'm sorry I couldn't kill myself." Jason spoke as he wiped his nose with his elbow.
"What?" Bruce stood up, now face to face with Jason. He approached him. "What did you say?"

But what if fate had plans in store for him? What happens when he gets caught in another explosion after saving his sibling? What happens when he wakes up in a different box, in a different time, in a different world? Will he be able to navigate and survive? Or will he be plucked like a weed and thrown to the side?

Or: Jason has a very bad no good time while caving slowly, much like a black hole. But then he gets killed and wakes up in the Marvel time line. Only difference is this time he no longer has a mission to stick to, and happens to be the same age he was the first time around. Strap in for one choas gremlin with no more fucks to give, unleashed in a time line where Bruce can no longer hold him back. Stick around as he slowly pulls everyone in and forms one new family that will appreciate him fully, even if he may bite sometimes.
Plump with heavy angst, existential crisis, and a healthy dosage of crack to balance it all out.

And Jason could have said it back. Should have admitted that the reason he wanted Bruce to be angry was because, to Jason, anger had always been the purest form of love. He should have told Bruce how he needed the man angry because how else should he know he cared?
But Bruce had refused to fight. He just took every insult Jason leveled at him, apologized for his mistakes, and stayed brutally, unshakably calm.

After recent events, Jason Todd and Stephanie Brown have been feeling lost and directionless but in different ways. Steph needs to find her Batgirl groove again after her death and resurrection, and Jason needs something to do that isn’t being in Gotham City or chasing after the Joker… or so he’s told.
When Steph stumbles upon a case involving a new street drug called Bliss, afflicting River City, she decides to go undercover as a student teacher to stop whoever is behind the new drug and hopefully find her hero mojo along the way. What she doesn’t expect is having Jason Todd as a partner, not to mention her growing feelings and attraction to him, that she’s been trying to ignore for years.
Going undercover with Steph was the last thing Jason wanted to do, but not because of her. If anything, working with her has always been the easiest thing in the world because they get along so well. The problem is dealing with his heart whenever he’s around her. Despite all his efforts to keep his feelings locked away, she always manages to stir something up inside him... and it scares him to death. Then again, he’s been dead before so maybe a moth has no choice but to fly into the flames.
