Summary
Everyone is convinced that Ivan is dead as he layed on the stage on his pool of blood. Unbeknownst to them the aliens favour him as their shining gem as his voice is something they could never let go. His death is something that they wouldn’t allow.
Behind the scenes, Ivan is alive and well. Despite himself beiing safe, his main worry is protecting Till from this cursed tournament.

After Round 6, Till is still conflicted from Ivan’s “death” and the way his lips and comforting touch lingered on him. His fight with Luka is nearing by the second and he would lie if he said he wasn’t nervous. His own life was on the line.
As he sat in the waiting room with his mind a mess, he heard footsteps right behind him. When he turned around to see who it was… It was the very same man whom just kissed him moments ago and the very same man who bled out infront of him. It was just like seeing a ghost.
Until he heard him speak, he realized this wasn’t his own hallucination.
“Till, come run away with me..”

Ivan was in disbelief. “..What are you talking about? I’m not going anywhere without you. And I don’t want to stay here.”
“..And you’re not just saying that because I don’t want to be here, are you? That I’m not forcing you out of a place you’re comfortable?”
He made a face, “Since when have you worried about that?”
“I don’t know.. ..But maybe it’s better for some people to stay ignorant if they’re with the better ones out there. Leaving is.. Who knows what’s out there? And it’s filled with uncertainty that I don’t want to put you in a life that might be even worse."
“You’re an idiot, Till.”
Till held his hand over where Ivan had hit. “Hey! What was that for?”
“Getting you out of your head again. Do you really think that’s a better idea or is that your guilt talking?”
The other looked away.
“I want to go with you Till. Does it need to be any more complicated than that?”

Summary
This couldn't be happening. This had to be some horrible hallucination induced by the myriad of drugs forced into his system before the round. This wasn't real. No, please God, don't let this be real.
Till squeezed his eyes shut and took a stuttering breath. Silence. Eerie silence.
Why was it so quiet? Why had no sentinels come to put Till's collar back on and drag him away? Why was Ivan's lifeless body still here and not tossed in a pile somewhere with all the others who had been executed for the aliens' entertainment?
That had to mean this wasn't real, right?
But, Till could still feel the phantom of fingers around his throat, the ghost of desperate lips against his own, and when he opened his eyes again, he still saw pure white stained with crimson red, the sacred corrupted.
Ivan and Till are rescued after their round. Till must navigate the confusing feelings he's faced with in the aftermath.

When they both audition for new upcoming show 'ALIEN STAGE', they find themselves playing a pair of complicated, unrequited lovers, who fit each other's personalities a little bit too well. It doesn't help that the directors have made the characters share the same names as their actors.
As ‘Ivan’ and ‘Till’ develop on the scenes, Ivan and Till develop behind them. But what will it take to bring them together? Perhaps a little bit of self-indulgence and going against the script is the final key.
