Summary
The first time Chaud Blaze ever takes a vacation turns out to be a less of a resort trip in the South Netopian mountains and more of a fight for survival. Someone wanted him dead and they were willing to use his only friends as collateral damage to make it look like an accident. But who has the money and resources to preordain a plane crash? Just how the hell did any of them survive it? Are the lives of his friends going to be forever in jeopardy with such a powerful foe pulling the strings?
Would things just be better if Chaud laid down in the dirt and died?
Several of his closest companions have firmly decided that his life is worth fighting through hell for, at least.

She loves her son dearly and will do anything to protect him, so when she gets a sense of something being terribly wrong, when her young son comes back with small bruises, there's no way she's going to stand by and do nothing.
