Those were agency girls, idols-in-training; girls who’d taken classes that started and ended with teaching them to get comfortable being a failure, the least attractive in a room. Kohane was a pigtail-wearing lesbian who played with cats in her spare time and probably ran away screaming at the sight of a spider."

    Kohane's relationship begins to fall apart, and with it, everything around her comes crashing down and nobody is in any position to fix it, though they try.
