Welcome back, rewriting this futuristic superhero AU that takes place before the futuristic Zombie AU. I chose to mix some things up and give new plot points. Kris wasn't adopted by the Dreemurrs in this, but Frisk and Chara were. Some plot points are gonna be absolutely ridiculous, and the point was to be like the crazy stories of superhero comics. I'll also try to remember to keep the Video Game mechanics in there. This is going to take inspiration from a LOT of superhero media.
I didn't like where Pre-apocalypse was going and thought it was kinda bad. So I'm re-writing it, AGAIN. I hope you guys enjoy this one more than the last. PLEASE, just tell me if you guys don't like this. Also, go follow my Tumblr account @driskreemurr2 for some details. In fact, one of the plot relevant things is gonna be the readers themselves, through polls. I'd recommend checking the polls before they close, or the plot might go a way you don't like from just one vote.

I liked the lore of my Deltaplague fanfic so I wanted to make a partially episodic (still edgy) slice-of-life style prequel of sorts, so I wouldn't have to explain lore through annoying infodumps.

Kris and Ralsei have very peculiar and perhaps the most misunderstood relationship in Deltarune: while Kralsei remains fairy popular within the general audience, mainstream theories regard it as a deeply troubling dynamic that only serves to support the core idea of the game – Kris' inability to choose their destiny. However, I don't exactly support this notion and find the evidence for it lacking to say the least. Moreover, I believe that Kralsei may be crucial for unraveling the plot of Deltarune and developing both Kris and Ralsei as characters independent of any foreign influence.
I will examine common (and not so much) arguments against their shipping, including theories most prevalent in the community, and propose my own explanation of their dynamic and possible romance. After all, Kralsei is much more interesting than common myths lead people to believe, and my hope is for the fandom to realize as much.
