“This is so cool…” Floyd whispers to himself excitedly as he quickly opens the folder, not caring what the meaning of the project could be.
Inside, there are reports written in the same unfamiliar language. But what catches Jade’s attention is the photograph. It is obviously very old. The edges have yellowed with age and the photo had been taken in black and white.
Floyd notices as well and carefully picks up the photo. The photo is of a boy who appears to be around their age. He has short, wavy hair and a small scar on the bridge of his nose. He isn’t smiling. His eyes look empty.
Or: The Winter Soldier story you most definitely were not looking for but happened upon anyway.

Claire had a rather eventful winter break and was pleasantly enjoying the start of the new year when those horrible dreams came back - this time, it's the Fairest Queen from Pomefiore. As she desperately tries to figure out who is the next Overblot, it is then announced that Night Raven will be holding a large cultural festival with the highlight being the Vocal Dance Competition (VDC).
With more lives on the line, Claire found herself involved in the VDC as the relentless Pomefiore dorm head, Vil Schoenheit, leads the NRC team in the competition. But strife between the members can spell disaster in more ways than they may expect, and it seems Vil is hiding more than one dark secret from them.
Time is running out as competition day gets closer and closer, and Claire will have to use everything she has to stop the inevitable from happening. Her own secrets, though while they may hold the key, may not be enough.
Even if she isn't from this world, this is her home. These are her friends. She is not backing down.
