Summary
Thomas had the ability to materialize aspects of his personality, which was a rare gift indeed. Virgil has has been accepted and embraced by Thomas and the three core Sides - Logan, Patton and Roman - and he has slowly begun to let his guard down. It's going okay until a certain deceitful Side decides that he needs more control over Thomas' decisions.
Virgil doesn't like that Thomas is allowing one of the others to stick around out side of his head, and he's even more baffled to find that Thomas is listening and indirectly forcing all of them to play along with the web of lies that he spins. Virgil feels powerless to stop it, and all he can really do is watch as things fall more and more apart.
