Summary
Within the Fairmont Kingdom, there exists a tradition. A grand ceremonial ball will be held before a wedding, held by the parents of the bride as a show of gifting their daughter to the groom. Tonight is the night of one of these balls. Held for none other than Diego Sterling, Morgan's baby sister. Though, she's not much of a baby anymore. And she's marrying a king.
But Morgan is not attending tonight's festivities for a few reasons. Not only does he disagree with the tradition of treating one's daughter as an object to be given away, Morgan has other business to attend to.
Tonight, everyone important is gathered in one room. Guards are heavily protecting that one room. This leaves less guards to protect the rest of the castle and no one to interfere with Morgan's plans.
For way too long, his parents have been keeping the lower levels of the castle well guarded.
Tonight, Morgan finds out what they're hiding.
