Summary
Vil’s opinion of Cater is flipped promptly on its head when he finds a piece of paper stuck to his shoe. Thinking it’s discarded homework, he goes to toss it away, but then catches a glimpse of the some of the words on it, finding it to be a piece of a handwritten letter very obviously written by the Heartslabyul third year.
After reading Cater’s letter, Vil crafts a letter of his own extending a hand out to form a friendship, finally thinking he knows what lies behind Cater’s cheerful smile.
To Vil’s dismay, Cater ends up being so much worse than he could ever imagine
