Arin turns into a self-destructive wreck after his divorce. When he starts to rip apart his friendships one by one, something really weird happens to him. He doesn't seem to know where he is, or what's going on, and he keeps trying to kiss Dan? He says they're married.
Through a glimpse into another universe, Dan sees just how much they could be, and comes to terms with some feelings he's had for... A while.
(Basically, I re-wrote the fic, top to bottom, but from Dan's perspective.)

Summary
Omegas have historically been faced with extreme oppression under the dominant Alpha rule, but since the Civil Rights Movement, equality and integration of the sexes has become increasingly common. Even so, for the last decade, Game Grumps has stood as somewhat of a political statement, seeing as its figureheads are an Omega and an Alpha in a platonic friendship. Some would say what Arin and Danny have is impossible for two members of opposing sexes, their platonic bond directly contradicting societal expectations. However, unforeseen circumstances arise that throw their lives and views of each other into turmoil, and leave them questioning the roots of their relationship.

Though, as he starts out on his first day, at the mysterious sound of a bell, he keeps ending up in different locations, losing, or forgetting huge chunks of his day that seem to have gone by without him. He can't remember classes, and his friends don't remember conversations they had just minutes earlier. Along with this, both times a strange boy Arin has never seen before has been in attendance, but no one knows who he's talking about when he mentions him. He just can't seem to figure what's going on as he keeps losing hours of his time, or if he's losing his mind.
