While attending the coffee mornings at the village hall Anne suspects her neighbours are attempting to use certain code words as a hint they may require advice of a sexual nature. Anne is determined to try and encourage other women to discuss how they truly feel. In her quest to offer advice on forbidden topics using code, will she succeed, or will it end in tears? And will the repercussions of her advice find its way into Gilberts Doctors surgery whether he likes it or not. -

There were paneled corridors, whispery romantic parks, wide winscoted halls. They all contained secrets and love stories, some of which became legends, such as the partnership between Cooper Prize winner that delicious Gilbert Blythe and the enchanting starry-eyed redhead Anne Shirley.
In the shadowy parks and the silences of the elaborate arbors there were also other kinds of destinies, encounters. This is a tale of Misses Madeleine Dobson and Claire Gardner, of those Gardners of Kingsportian Bluenose allure. Claire Gardner was a cousin to that so charming Royal Gardner, almost toast of Redmond, that he had been, his sisters proud and haughty Aline and sweet Dorothy, with her winsome ways and tricks.
There is love and yearning, twined with sorrow and rejuvenation of love that dare not sayeth it´s name and of calvacade of temperamental chosen family across decades.

Instead of adding Bash to his property title, Gilbert in a bit of a life-crisis mode bequeaths the entirety of the farm to his brother figure, effectively making himself homeless. Luckily, there is a local family who takes boarders, and it’s no trouble on the Cuthberts seeing how fond Marilla was of his father in their youth, so he finds comfort in asking her to take him in.
The only downside is sharing a residence with his academic rival of over 5 years, the ever confusing and infuriating Anne Shirley-Cuthbert, and as they come of age things get… complicated.
(A somewhat re-imagination of season 3, as the divergence would take place the final episode of season 2. Many aspects of season 3 will remain. But mostly slightly aged up AU, in-canon world)
