In the following days, Boothill brought Petirrojo many seeds and berries to fill her stomach, and occasionally caught her favorite sea fish, although it seemed that Petirrojo didn't like fish very much. One day, a snowstorm suddenly blew in the sky. Boothill quickly wrapped Petirrojo with his wide wings and eagle feathers on his chest to block the biting cold wind and heavy snow. Later, they watched the sunrise and sunset together on the coast and in the forest every day, and watched the stars and the moon together on the cliff. Petirrojo told Boothill about the various interesting things she encountered during her journey: the sea of flowers in the spring in the south, the green forests in the summer, the golden wheat fields and bright red fruit forests in the autumn, and how she followed her family and brother to fly over mountains, rivers and lakes to come here. Boothill listened to these stories from Petirrojo, and gradually felt an unprecedented curiosity and warmth in his heart. At this moment, he felt that he was no longer just a lonely guardian, but a person with a close friend.
